Terms of Use
Last updated: October 18, 2026 · based on the End-User License Agreement, version 1.1
PaliyTech Dubbing is licensed under an End-User License Agreement (EULA). The app includes it as LICENSE.txt, and the full text is at the bottom of this page. Below is a plain-language summary; if anything here differs from the EULA, the EULA prevails.
Who sells the app
PaliyTech Dubbing is developed and licensed by {SELLER_LEGAL_NAME}, Ukraine (“PaliyTech”, “we”). Support: Telegram @PolyDubbing_bot; other contacts — Contact & support.
Orders paid by card or PayPal on this website are processed by our authorized reseller, which acts as the merchant of record for those orders and handles payment, taxes and invoices. Purchases in Telegram are paid in Telegram Stars. Card checkout on this website is coming soon.
Price and payment
The price is shown on the product page and at checkout, with taxes where they apply. It is a one-time payment for a lifetime license — no subscription and no automatic renewal.
The license
One purchase gives you a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the app on up to three (3) computers, one copy per computer, for personal or internal business purposes. The software is licensed, not sold. The license ends if you breach the EULA (see “Termination” below). (EULA §1, §9)
License keys and activation
Each computer is identified by a hardware-derived ID and unlocked by its own key; one purchase includes up to three activations. A purchase may come as a purchase code: entering it in the app or on the Activate page activates the current computer and issues its key, and each such activation counts toward the three. Further activations — for example after replacing hardware — go through support. Don't share, publish or resell your key or purchase code, and don't use one key on several devices at once. (EULA §2)
Your videos and results
What you process and what the app produces belong to you; we claim no rights or royalties. You are responsible for having the rights to the media you process and for how you use the result. (EULA §3)
Acceptable use
You can add a video as a file or import it by link. Only process content you own or are authorized to use, and follow the terms of the sites you import from and copyright law. (EULA §4)
AI-generated voice
The voice-over the app creates is synthetic (AI-generated). Starting with version 1.0.3, finished videos carry a machine-readable label saying so — please don't remove it on purpose. If you publish a dub that could pass for a real person's voice (a “deep fake” under the EU AI Act), tell your viewers it was generated by AI. See AI label. (EULA §3A)
Online services
Some features use the internet and third-party services under their own terms: the online voice, selected by default, sends the translated text (only the text) to Microsoft's speech service; optional online translators and Telegram notifications, with your own keys, receive the text to translate or the notification; the app downloads models, voices, components and update notices, and media from the links you enter; activation with a purchase code sends the code and your machine ID to our license server. We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, their output or the data sent to them. With an offline voice, the built-in translator and models downloaded in advance, the app can dub local files offline. (EULA §5)
Privacy
The app processes your media on your device; we don't collect, transmit or store your media, transcripts or translations, and there is no telemetry. Purchase and activation records are described in our Privacy Policy. (EULA §6)
Restrictions
Unless the law or an open-source license allows it, you may not copy, distribute, resell, rent or sublicense the app; reverse-engineer its proprietary parts; remove copyright notices; tamper with activation; or use the app to build a competing product. (EULA §7)
Open-source components
The app includes open-source components under their own licenses, listed in THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md. Nothing in the EULA limits your rights under those licenses. (EULA §8)
Updates and support
We may, but are not obliged to, provide updates, upgrades or support. (EULA §10)
No warranty, limited liability
The app is provided “as is”. Recognition, translation and synthesized speech can contain errors — check important results. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the license. Some countries don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you. (EULA §12–13)
Refunds
Sales are final once a purchase code or license key has been issued, except: if the app doesn't work on your computer and our support can't fix it, you get a refund; and where your country's mandatory consumer law gives a refund right that can't be waived. When a purchase is refunded or charged back, its purchase code is blocked and the license, including its keys, ends. Details: Refund policy. (EULA §14)
Termination
The license ends automatically if you breach the EULA; you must then stop using the app and delete all copies. (EULA §11)
Sanctions
You may not use the app in, or for the benefit of, a country or person subject to comprehensive sanctions or export restrictions. (EULA §15)
Governing law
The EULA is governed by the laws of Ukraine. Mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence are not affected. (EULA §16)
Changes
We may revise the EULA for future versions of the app; the version supplied with your installed build applies to that build. (EULA §17)

PaliyTech Dubbing — End-User License Agreement (EULA)
IMPORTANT — READ CAREFULLY. This End-User License Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal agreement between you ("Licensee", "you") and V.V. Paliy ("Licensor", "we") governing the PaliyTech Dubbing software application, including its executable files, bundled data and models, and documentation (collectively, the "Software"). By purchasing a license key, installing, copying, or using the Software, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Software.
1. LICENSE GRANT
Subject to your payment of the applicable fee and your compliance with this Agreement, Licensor grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, perpetual license to install and use the Software on up to three (3) computers, one (1) copy per computer (each, a "Licensed Device"), for your personal or internal business purposes. Each Licensed Device is identified by a hardware-derived identifier and is unlocked by its own license key.
2. LICENSE KEY AND ACTIVATION
Each license key authorizes use on one Licensed Device. One purchase includes up to three (3) activations (one key per computer); further activations, for example after a hardware replacement, are handled through Licensor support. A purchase may be delivered as a purchase code: entering the code in the Software or on Licensor's website activates the current computer and issues its license key, and each such activation counts toward the three (3) activations. The Software derives a hardware identifier from the device and binds each license key to that identifier. Moving the Software to a different computer, or a significant change of hardware, may require re-activation through Licensor support. You may not share, publish, resell, or sublicense your license key, or attempt to use one key on more than one device simultaneously.
3. YOUR CONTENT AND OUTPUT
Media that you process with the Software and the results it produces ("Output") belong to you. Licensor claims no ownership of your Output and does not impose royalties on it. You are solely responsible for obtaining all rights necessary for the media you process and for your use of the Output.
3A. AI-GENERATED CONTENT
The Software uses artificial intelligence to generate synthetic speech. Output files that contain such speech carry machine-readable markings identifying the audio as artificially generated (described at https://paliy.tech/ai-label). You must not intentionally remove, alter, or obscure these markings. If you publish Output that constitutes a "deep fake" within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (the EU AI Act) or similar laws, you are responsible for disclosing that the content has been artificially generated or manipulated.
4. ACCEPTABLE USE; THIRD-PARTY PLATFORMS
The Software can download and process media from third-party platforms and URLs. You are solely responsible for complying with the terms of service of those platforms and with all applicable copyright and other laws. You must only download, dub, or otherwise process content that you own or are authorized to use. Licensor does not endorse, and is not responsible for, any unauthorized or infringing use of the Software.
5. ONLINE SERVICES
Some features of the Software use an internet connection and third-party services, each governed by its operator's own terms: (a) the online voice, which the Software selects by default, sends the translated text to be spoken to Microsoft's online speech service (text only, never your video or its sound); you may choose an offline voice instead where one is available; (b) optional online translators (for example, Google Gemini, Groq or DeepL) and optional Telegram notifications, used through API keys or bot tokens that you supply, receive the text to be translated or the notification text; (c) the Software downloads AI models, offline voices, components and update notices from their publishers, and media from the links you enter; (d) activation with a purchase code sends the code and the hardware identifier of your device to Licensor's license server, and a key request from the activation window sends the hardware identifier, the computer name and the name and e-mail address you enter (if any) to Licensor. Licensor is not responsible for third-party services, their availability, their output, or the data sent to them. With an offline voice, the built-in translator and models downloaded in advance, the Software can dub local files without an internet connection.
6. PRIVACY
The Software processes your media on your device. Licensor does not collect, transmit, or store your media, transcripts, or translations, and the Software contains no usage analytics or telemetry. The features in Section 5 send only the data described there, and only to the relevant provider. When you buy or activate a license, Licensor processes the purchase and activation records described in the Privacy Policy (https://paliy.tech/privacy).
7. RESTRICTIONS
Except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law that cannot be waived, or by the licenses of the bundled open-source components (Section 8), you may not: (a) copy, distribute, publish, resell, rent, lease, lend, or sublicense the Software; (b) reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the proprietary portions of the Software; (c) remove, obscure, or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices; (d) circumvent, disable, or tamper with the license key or activation mechanism; or (e) use the Software to build or assist in building a competing product.
8. THIRD-PARTY AND OPEN-SOURCE COMPONENTS
The Software includes third-party and open-source components, each licensed under its own terms, identified in the accompanying file THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md. Those terms govern those components; with respect to any given component, in the event of a conflict, that component's license prevails over this Agreement for that component. Nothing in this Agreement limits, supersedes, or removes any right granted to you under those open-source licenses. Certain components are licensed under the GNU General Public License (GPL) or Lesser General Public License (LGPL); for those components the corresponding source code and full license texts are provided with the Software and/or are available from Licensor on written request for at least three (3) years, as described in THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md.
9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The Software is licensed, not sold. Licensor retains all right, title, and interest in and to the proprietary portions of the Software, including all related intellectual property rights. No rights are granted to you except as expressly set out in this Agreement.
10. UPDATES AND SUPPORT
Licensor may, but is not obligated to, provide updates, upgrades, or support. Unless an update is accompanied by a separate license, this Agreement governs it.
11. TERM AND TERMINATION
This Agreement is effective until terminated. It terminates automatically, without notice, if you breach any of its terms. Upon termination you must cease all use of the Software and remove all copies in your possession. Sections 3, 3A, 7, 8, 9, 12, 13, 15, and 16 survive termination.
12. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. LICENSOR DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY TRANSCRIPTION, TRANSLATION, OR SYNTHESIZED SPEECH WILL BE ACCURATE OR FIT FOR ANY PARTICULAR USE.
13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, LICENSOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SOFTWARE OR THIS AGREEMENT. LICENSOR'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY UNDER THIS AGREEMENT SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU ACTUALLY PAID FOR YOUR LICENSE. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
14. REFUNDS
The Software is a digital product that is delivered and unlocked by a purchase code or license key. Because it is made available for immediate use, all sales are final and the license fee is non-refundable once a purchase code or license key has been issued, except: (a) if the Software does not work on your computer and Licensor support cannot resolve the problem, you will receive a refund (please contact support first and describe the problem); and (b) where a non-waivable right to a refund applies under the mandatory consumer-protection law of your country of residence. If you are a consumer with a statutory right of withdrawal (for example, in the EU/EEA/UK), then by requesting and receiving your purchase code or license key you expressly consent to the immediate supply of the digital content and acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal. Refunds for purchases made through a reseller or payment platform are paid through that platform. When a purchase is refunded or charged back, its purchase code is blocked and the license, including the license keys issued under it, ends.
15. EXPORT AND SANCTIONS COMPLIANCE
You represent and warrant that you are not located in, and will not use the Software in or for the benefit of, any country or party subject to comprehensive sanctions or export restrictions under applicable law, and that you are not a person with whom dealings are prohibited under such law.
16. GOVERNING LAW
This Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ukraine, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you in your country of residence are not affected by this clause.
17. ENTIRE AGREEMENT; SEVERABILITY; CHANGES
This Agreement, together with THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md, constitutes the entire agreement between you and Licensor regarding the Software and supersedes all prior understandings. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. Licensor may revise this Agreement for future versions of the Software; the version distributed with your installed build governs that build.
